Terms and Conditions

SUPPLIED ON CHARTER

All fishing combos, terminal tackle, metal slugs, soft plastics and bait are provided for any of our charter options.

Food, Soft drinks and water are also provided. PLEASE ADVISE US OF ANY DIETARY REQUIREMENTS.

REFUND POLICY FOR CANCELLATION BY CLIENT

  • If the client cancels the charter 7 days prior to the charter date a full refund will be given.
  • If the client cancels the charter between 7 days and 2 days prior to charter date a 50% refund will be given.
  • If the client cancels the charter 48 hours prior to charter date no refund will be given.

DEPARTURE TIMES

We will meet at the Urangan Boat Ramp on Jetty Street at the top of pontoons 2nd or 3rd ramp.

Pick up and drop off from a Kingfisher Bay can also be arranged for private bookings at an additional cost.

Departure time is approx 5.30am-2.30pm. If booked for offshore please allow another 2 hours.

 

PLEASE NOTE: Pending sea conditions and tides these times may be adjusted. Time to meet at Urangan Boat Ramp will be confirmed the day before departure.

  • Hot Reels Pro Fish Charters reserve the right to cancel any of our charters due to bad weather or sea conditions.
  • In the event the charter is cancelled due to being unable to fish because of bad weather then the client has the option of a full refund or to reschedule to another date.
  • In the event the charter is cancelled at anytime by Hot Reels Pro Fish Charters we will not be liable for any travel costs, meals, accomodation or any other costs the clients may have incurred.
What to bring
  •  Sunscreen supplied but please bring your own if you prefer.
  • Hat and spray/rain jacket.
  • If you are wanting to take home a feed of fish please bring a esky with ice in your car (leave in car until we return to boat ramp) As we do not have the proper fish cleaning facilities we are not able to fillet any fish for you however if you do want your fish filleted you can contact Boat Harbor Fisheries on 41251261 prior to your charter and they may be able to assist.
  • If you are wanting to bring your own fishing rods please let us know 12 hours before the charter.
Additional Terms
  • Minimum age of client is 5 years old and all children will be booked at adult prices.
  • Children must wear a life jacket and be under adult supervision at all times. We can supply a suitable life jacket if notified when booking.
  • If anything is lost or damaged it will be invoiced to the client responsible.
  • BYO alcohol (no glass) and we ask the passengers to be responsible and be aware of your consumption.

NO GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEMS!

  • Mobile Phones are banned on our 9 and 11 hour charters, but may be allowed on 7 hour charter, however you may be asked to turn off at times. All other GPS capable devices such as Smart Watches etc are banned from boat and if found the trip will be cancelled and no refund given. Please note that there would be no mobile service when out on offshore charter if you need to use a phone there will be one on board, if needed can be used once we are back within reception range.
  • The skipper will take photos with his phone but there will also be a camera supplied on board if you wish to use it. Photos will be sent to you via text, email or messenger.

  • Hi Bob, I’d like to thank you for the great trip my son and I had with you recently. We fished in the Great Sandy Strait using soft plastics on light gear. We’d never used soft plastics before and you were very patient in helping us to learn the right technique. We moved around allot and caught a good number of fish at each drop. The boat was easy to move around, and with only 4 fishers aboard, it was very comfortable for all. The lunch was great and there was plenty of water and soft drinks for everyone. We pulled a vast variety of reef species including red emperor, snapper, mangrove jack and hussar to name just a few.
