7Hr CHARTER (3/4 DAY)
This is a awesome day out on the water and we concentrate our efforts sportfishing and baiting, closer to home. Areas we fish are the bay Islands, outer sand banks, Great Sandy Straits, inshore reefs and wrecks. If you are wanting to sportfish with ultralight tackle we can use 3kg line. We will target Golden Trevally, Queenfish, Diamond Trevally, Giant Herrings, Snapper, Tuna, Grunter, Mackerel, Reef Fish and more.
We suggest booking this charter on “Beenleigh II ” If you prefer sportfishing, with a selection of lures and softplastics. We can still use bait and other techniques if you wish. Fish in comfort on-board “Beenleigh II” where we use techniques such as baiting, live baiting, for Sweetlip, Grunter, Trevally, Cod, Blackall, Mackerel, Coral Trout and many other varieties of fish. But if you’re group is small then we can still focus on sportfishing with a selection of lures and softplastics.

The better the weather, the further we can travel on the day (if your group chooses to) in search of tasty Reef Fish or Pelagics. Areas we target are the Southern, Northern and African Gutters that are situated wider offshore, isolated reefs, wrecks, wonky holes, Platypus Bay, Hervey Bay and the islands. This is a fantastic adventure day out exploring and fishing these pristine waters that Hervey Bay has to offer and if your lucky we may be cruising only a stones throw away from the majestic western side of Fraser/K’gari Island to or from our fishing grounds.

The 11 hr charter option gives the anglers extra time to fish longer or the possibility of travelling further to maximise there
chances of scoring more quality table fish or to Sportsfish for Pelagics.

Fishing Methods
We use a assortment of traditional and sportsfishing methods to give the anglers their best chance of coming home with a impressive box of tasty fish.
The methods we focus on are:
Baiting/ Float Lining
If you’re chasing quality Reef Fish such as Coral Trout, Scarlet Sea Perch and the prized Red Emperor along with Snapper and Mackerel to name only a few species, then this method can see some great colours being added into the fish box.
Jigging
Jigging for Reef Fish, Spanish Mackeral, Coral Trout, Dino sized Cobias plus a vast variety of Trevally species and Mackerel can be a extremely exciting and effective.
Trolling
Towing around rigged whole dead baits and lures for pelagics fish such as juvenile Black Marlin, Large Spanish Mackerel, Snapper, Tuna, Reef Fish and more.
This gets the adrenaline racing when the drag start screaming.
Popping/ Stickbaiting/ Softplastics
This is our favourite way to fish the bait balls on the surface that are being harassed by Spanish Mackerel, Tuna, Spotty and school Mackerel, Golden Trevally, Cobia, Queenfish and more.

Breaksea Spit (Not currently available)
On this extreme fishing charter we will be fishing the top eastern side of Fraser/K’gari Island, Breaksea Spit and beyond using a combination of the techniques listed above for big Red Emperor, Green Jobfish, Rosy Jobfish, Tuskfish, Pearl Perch, Gt, Wahoo, Spanish and a extremely vast combination of both Northern and Southern species.
This charter is for the experienced fisher.
